Restoring the Classics at our Shop
At A-1 Restoration, we are able to handle the most delicate of pieces. We have done work for the McLean County Museum of History and for treasured antiques that have been handed down through the generations. Our customers come to us for everything from refinishing a priceless heirloom to on-site restoration. No project is too big or too small!
If removing the old finish is what is needed, be assured that each piece is carefully stripped of the old finish by hand, preventing damage to fine woods. We do not dip or soak our pieces, and we use a water purification system that removes and collects the waste to be disposed of responsibly.
